By taking part in the contest you can create designs of LATTEA glasses. Either you submit freely created Lattea glass designs or you use a configuration tool in order to design glasses.But not only the best designers win great prices! The Most-Active-Member as well as the Best-Supporter is rewarded with a LATTEA full-automated coffee machine!
Criteria for the designs
The following criteria will be applied to judge the designs from the community:- Creativity (Newness, Uniqueness)
- Fit to the Lattea-World and to the topic “Lattea Macciato Glass”
- Level of elaboration and description of idea
Discussion & evaluation
The discussion and evaluation of submitted designs is a very important part in the competition. First of all, the quality of your own designs will increase massively by evaluating and discussing other designs with other users. Secondly, the most active member is rewarded with a LATTEA full-automated coffee machine. Your activity is measured in the Activity-Index. As a result, taking part actively in the competition will be profitable in two ways!Registration
In order to participate in the contest, you have to register. As a registered user you can contribute your designs and become a candidate for the prizes and also read, evaluate and comment on other designs. To finalize your registration, you have to agree to the Terms and Conditions.To register, you must take the following steps:
- Login information (mandatory)
- Personal information (optional)
- Recommendation of the competition to your networks and friends (optional)
- Agreement with the Terms and Conditions of the contest (mandatory)
- Register
Finally you will receive a confirmation email - also including your personal referrer link.
Submission of designs
You can contribute either freely created or configured designs for LATTEA accessories. Therefore, you first choose the design type (Freely Created Design or Configuration Tool) and then you either use the entry toolkit or the configurator. Both types of designs are displayed in the design pool.Freely created designs
Freely created designs can be either drawn freehand or computer generated, yet have to be available in digital form for uploading them to the platform. The entry of freely created designs is supported by an easy-to-use toolkit. The toolkit guides you through the entry process. The following steps have to be completed to enter a design:- Download design material (Download logos, outlines, etc. from the contest page)
- Upload your design
- Submit your design
After submitting your idea, you can also post it on your Facebook profile!
Configured designs
The configurator allows the designing according to the following dimensions:
- Selection of glass type (e.g. different shapes, tall, small, thick, slim etc.)
- Selection of Logos (e.g. Melitta, LATTEA, flavors etc.)
- Selection of background pattern and pattern color
- Selection and placing of symbols (e.g. coffee beans, chocolate, silhouette, geometrical shapes etc.)
- Input and placing of text
- Title and description of design
Evaluation
The average vote by the community is displayed with the design and can be seen by the community and any visitor of the contest website. In addition to that, a community evaluation counts for your Activity-Index, which enables you to win a LATTEA!You can indicate your valuation of a design by assigning 1 to 5 points to the design.
In contrast to the other functions of the platform, the community evaluation tool is only activated for each member with the confirmation of the user’s email in order to avoid fraud with multiple accounts.
After the deadline for the submission of designs is reached the jury will nominate the winning designs. Therefore it doesn’t matter whether your design is created freely or generated with the configurator. Although the jury will feel free to choose the three winning designs, the evaluation of the community will give a first indication of quality and style!
